opstack vs zkstack

so people who want to build their own chain / rollup, now choose between the opstack or zkstack.

the future is neither multi-chain or mono-chain. instead it’s a group of highly integrated chains which form an emergent structure… “superchain”, which powers the collective.

OPstack?

The OP Stack is a modular, open-source blueprint for highly scalable, highly interoperable blockchains of all kinds. Not just rollup. Not just optimistic.

the OP Stack is the first realization of the modular blockchain theory. need? to build highly compatible L2s and L3s. we lovingly call these op-chains

• why? to easily support the secure creation of new chains that can interoperate within the proposed “Superchain” ecosystem
• co-ordinate on shared standards, so that people avoid rebuilding the same software.
• what? all of the software that powers optimism. the stack evolves with optimism.

tldr; chains built with certain features. eg. base, optimism mainnet etc contributes to the whole “superchain”
