- every solana account has to pay for rent to be alive and avoid being deallocated
earlier you could’ve one of two things
- pay rent every epoch
- deposit enough SOL upon init to be considered rent exempt
now, you can’t pay rent, you NEED to hold enough sol for rent exemption during init
it’s less than a $ lol
i think it’s 0.20 back ( at sol = 100$ so that’s 5000 lamports )
